There is one thing for sure about any Bar/Bat Mitzvah — This isn’t just another kids party. In fact, it’s an evening of celebrating the host’s coming of age and this means upping the ante!
Here are some of our favorite “not so kiddie” party ideas!
01 FOOD TRUCKS, CARTS AND STALLS
While adult guests are being served a sit down dinner, the younger generation will want to keep running around and enjoying the party. Naturally, a continuous stream of energy and fun fuel is needed to keep them going all night. Branded food trucks are both delicious and perfect for grab & go options while the “kids” are juggling a nibble, their new customized apparel and dancing to the beats. Better yet - replacing the standard buffet table with these awesome decorated trucks is a great way to fill up venue space with something that’s both form and function. These food stations can blend perfectly with the overall theme of the event so blend in as additional decor while also serving up delicious bites. Perfect for both indoor and outdoors events!
02 CUBBY WALL
One of the most exciting perks of being a guest at a Bar/Bat Mitzvah is all the fun goodies you collect through the night. Via various entertainment stations, guests will collect a series of fun take home items such as graffiti sweatshirts, wax hands, photo booth image strips and much more. Additionally, when the party gets going, kids often like to kick off their shoes or remove a layer.
Having custom tote bags with guests’ names on them gives them a place to store all their goodies and personal items in one organized place so that tossed aside sweatshirts and sneakers don’t take take over the dance floor. A cubby wall has rows and columns of 3D extended hand forms, each holding a personalized tote bag. Upon arrival, guests can spot their names and grab their bags to begin filling it up! When they are ready to dance or are tired of holding it, they can bring it right back to the wall to be hung up until it’s time to go.
03 PHOTO BOOTH
Did it even really happen if there’s no photographic evidence? Younger guests will love the photo moment where they can see their images instantaneously. Functions that allows them to email the photos directly to their phone for quick Instagram access or print the photos for their bulletin board at home - these stations will give guests memories to cherish and flaunt!
04 ENTERTAINMENT
Various stations for different types of entertainment are a staple of Bar/Bat Mizvahs - some of our favorites ones are: wax hands, inflatable games, custom jewelry makers, candy sculptures, air brush artists and live mannequins. DJs, live bands and even special performers are a great way to get the atmosphere going!
