With Easter just around the corner, we’re shifting our color palette to pastels. The holiday has always been a time for families and friends to gather together to celebrate, sharing in delicious lunches, plentiful laughter and welcomed fun. Kid friendly activities and beautiful decor integrate to make the special day a joyous moment for all. Below are some of our favorite looks for Easter Sunday.
FLORALS
Because there are so many beautiful trinkets and decor items that are well-suited for Easter, we don’t suggest spending the bulk of your budget on florals. Though we do love Spring flowers and think they make a beautiful display, one or two bouquets will be plenty amidst the rest of your table decor.
Quince, Cherry Blossoms and Tulips are our favorite flowers for a sun drenched lunch affair. Taller bouquets with Cherry Blossoms or Quinces should be used if you’re setting up a buffet table or throughout the room for added decor. Tulips can be used as the dining table decor.
TABLE SETTINGS
Similar to how we feel about florals, plates and table setting should be on the minimal side so that trinkets and decor items can really stand out. This doesn’t mean boring or white only! You can add colors and shapes but lean towards cohesive tones that aren’t too loud. Incorporating these pieces into the table settings is a great idea and will definitely enhance your layout. However, the actual setting should be a subdued background.
TABLE DECOR AND TRINKETS
This is where we let creativity fly! Moss table runners, bunny statues, egg baskets and more… whether you’re going for the full pastel rainbow or sticking to a themed color, we recommend adding various mismatched trinkets throughout the table to create a playful and happy display.
KIDS TABLE
Fun and creative packaging is our favorite way to serve kids - not only will they love the look but parents will love it too for being easy to throw away and mess-free.
