Ok, ok… we admit it! Valentine’s Day is one of our favorite! Don’t get us wrong, you should use every day to express how important your loved ones are, and yes the 14th of February is just another Hallmark infused excuse to generate more sales BUT isn’t there something special about having an entire day where the most important thing in those 24 hours is to tell the people you love that you love them. Well, we think it’s pretty special.
Here are some of our favorite Valentines day ideas!
Enchanted Forest
For those looking to make an impression! This is a simple tablescape that makes a huge impact and can be recreated in any setting. First, lay down a bed of fake moss. An assortment of red flowers will be the main centerpiece but a crystal decanter and other like objects would make great additions. Lastly, black candle sticks are a must.
Light of my Life
For those who believe in keeping it simple. Non labeled clear bottles make for beautiful candle holders. You can also use old bottles of wine if you have them laying around your apartment. Keep it simple and beautiful but placing white candlesticks into the bottles and placing them all around.
Back to Basics
One of our favorites! Grab a bunch of sheets and blankets and build a fort! Hang string lights along the sheets to create a romantic glow. Then stuff in a bunch of pillows and order your favorite snacks and just embrace pillow talk.
Bubbles and Bubbles
We love these hanging arrangements that are easy to install and so beautiful to look at. Add a few bottles of champagne around and take a bubble bath!
