Late spring is here and summer is around the corner! There’s no better time to start planning the perfect rooftop event. From pools to lawn games to unique features such as a water tower, we have included a list of all our favorite airy spaces. Corporate meetings, product launches, networking meet ups and other such functions need a little refreshing… and what’s fresher than a rooftop shindig?

The venue also will have a day menu and night menu with Australian-Asian cuisine, helmed by chef Brent Hudson of New York-based café Hole in the Wall. The indoor-outdoor venue spans the hotel’s 21st floor and specializes in cocktails and mocktails, beer, wine, and light bites. The 2,972-square-foot space holds as many as 145 seated or 200 standing and is available for full buyouts.

TWA HOTEL - at John F. Kennedy International Airport officially opens today, along with its Pool Bar and Observation Deck. Managed by the Gerber Group, the 10,000-square-foot observation deck features a 63- by 30-foot infinity edge pool that sits over the J.F.K. runway and offers views toward Jamaica Bay. The pool, which can be heated to 100 degrees and features a gold and red TWA mosaic, was inspired by the pool at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France. The space, which serves cocktails and food, accommodates as many as 300 guests for receptions.

ROOF AT PARK SOUTH - Park South Hotel’s seasonal rooftop cocktail bar, unveiled revamped event spaces for its sixth season in May. The Manhattan venue is available for private and semiprivate events for groups of 10 to 175 guests. Spaces include a private, tented garden that holds 50 reception style; a cocktail bar with hightop tables that seats 25 guests; and a floral area that can hold 50 reception style. The venue serves summer-inspired cocktails and a bar menu from chef Tim Cushman.

THE WATER TOWER - a nightclub and lounge located above the Williamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn, opened in November. Accessible through a V.I.P. elevator, the venue was constructed with materials including steel, brass, and glass, and it offers views of the Manhattan skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows. Other decor includes murals painted by local artists that are inspired by the neighborhood’s history. The venue serves contemporary cocktails from mixologist Rael Petit and upscale bar bites from chef Nic Caicedo. The space seats 45 guests and is available for private events.

The venue is helmed by Chris Barish and Julie Mulligan, founders of Black Tap Craft Beer & Burgers, and serves its take on bar food and cocktails helmed by Pamela Wiznitzer. The 2,200-square-foot space is divided into three seating areas—stadium seating, high-top tables, and a lounge area, all anchored by a center bar. The venue seats 65 outside and 50 guests inside.

Like other Clinton Hall locations, the venue offers games that include giant Jenga and Uno. The space will seat as many as 125 guests and has an additional private event space that holds 200 for receptions.

The space introduced new turf flooring and a mini golf course, along with a new aesthetic that includes black and gray furniture and white outdoor lamps. The space also offers more games such as corn hole, beer pong, and giant Connect 4. The 7,000-square-foot terrace can hold as many as 350 people standing, and it is available for full or partial buyouts.
